When hiring an interior designer,  I was concerned that no one would be able to understand, or take into account the lifestyle that we have with three children running around the house. I love white chairs as much as the next person but they just can’t happen in our phase of life right now!

Luckily, they completely understood where I was coming from when I said that we wanted to update our living space, but not with anything that couldn’t handle a football flying through the room or a spill on the sofa. They took those concerns into consideration and presented a great mix of furniture and accessories that we are in love with …and are functional for the way we live.

They truly have a great eye for design, and they are a pleasure to be around. But honestly, I can’t even imagine how much time they saved me when it comes to finishing a space and getting all of the components right. I just can’t shop all over town, in and out of multiple stores, looking for the right pieces to mix and match – it’s overwhelming and I burn out. After a quick consult- they were able to bring so many great ideas to life for the house that would have taken me forever to do.

Let’s face it- I have lived in my house 3 years, and am just now finishing several spaces thanks to Lonesome Dove stepping in.

If I were to recommend LDD to my friends I would say something like… getting interior design help does not have to cost an arm and a leg. They can shop at all of the same places you like to go…and really bring some creativity and style to any space in the house (or backyard) :). They understand the different needs that families with small kiddos have and are really open to making sure that the pieces they select work with a client’s lifestyle.

I knew Casey personally for many years before so there was NO fear in hiring LDD to help with remodeling. In the past, I’ve hired decorators with other homes and the biggest fear is will they represent what I want? Will I pay this money and possibly not like it? Will they get it right in the most efficient manner? With Casey and team, I knew it would turn out well. I know her and had seen some of their work. What was surprising is how much I enjoyed the process with them and how much we LOVED the end result! She gave me suggestions that made HUGE differences! They repurposed so many of my current things and made them look new and fresh among all the new and fresh.

I always relay how efficient they are with their time, how they love Home Goods & Tuesday Morning when it works, have a current yet traditional sense of style AND how they helped me through the process. They helped me step out of my comfort zone and get the style just right for my family. I would have it all solid tan and cream and now I have floral with herringbone and mosaic all in the same room! 🙂

My biggest fear was that I had hired an interior designer before and she didn’t listen to what I wanted and picked things that totally didn’t go with my home! But when y’all came in, you looked at what my style was and picked things that fit perfectly with my home and I love it!!!

“FEAR: Personality clash, expensive, and “”out there”” ideas that are not realistic or budget friendly.

Our initial concern with hiring interior designers was that we would be left with a space that did not fit our style or function for us, but also that we would not be able to accomplish our goals in a budget-friendly way. Casey and Cara really took the time to “get us” and we now have a home that not only is beautiful, but it makes sense for our family. We have several pieces that are important to us and they never questioned that they could make them work with the design. They challenged us to think about our spaces in a different way and were as judicious with our budget as we would have been. As a matter of fact, with their experience I believe we ended up spending much less on the overall design than if we had attempted it ourselves. We are thrilled with the end product. My only regret is not doing this project sooner!

Our favorite part of using LDD was Casey, Cara, and Shannon; they are great! Very easy to work with and extremely talented group of designers. I loved that they approached our home in a way that feels very custom to us, and the end result is beautiful.

I would recommend Lonesome Dove Design without question. I already have! I would say that if you’re even considering a design project, check them out. You may be surprised with what you can accomplish in your overall space with small changes and an expert eye. They were timely, budget-conscious, great communicators, fun to work with, and overall very talented with a great eye for design. Even more importantly, our home functions for our family but with a refreshed, stylish, custom-feel.

I was very concerned about the time commitment before hiring interior designers-we have a busy family with multiple dynamics–sports, travel, jobs, etc….Lonesome Dove Design came in with great ideas, customized it to our family style and kept us on track and made it a fun and enjoyable process!

These 3 ladies are so dynamic and they worked with my husband’s ideas, my kids ideas and laughed with us! We fell in love with the terrific trio! We consider them dear friends! They took our favorite pieces and updated our house into a comfy experience. We now have a great place to entertain and visit with friends and neighbors!

My biggest concern when hiring an interior designer was that the finished product would reflect their vision and not ours. That was not the case with LDD. When the project was finished, we had a space that was “so us”. We love it!!

Lonesome Dove made the process of decorating our home efficient and easy. My husband loved that they stayed within our budget.

I tell my friends to call Lonesome Dove to make their redecorating project easier. From picking out wall colors to furniture to the smallest knick- knacks, they will create a space you want to show off to friends but are still comfortable living in.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to convey what I wanted my space to look like. But you gave me everything I was wanting and more. My place looks beautiful.
